Safe drinking water is an immediate priority in emergencies when water supplies can be disrupted for substantial time periods. Oasis Water Purification Tablets are used by all the leading NGO’s as a key part of their emergency response. When safe water supplies are interrupted due to earthquakes, floods or other natural disasters treatment of drinking water is essential to ensure its microbiological integrity. Treatment with Oasis Water Purification Tablets is especially important at the beginning of an emergency when longer term solutions maybe some time away. Oasis Water Purification Tablets are available in a number of strengths for treating different volumes of water and are packed in large cartons of bulk strips for easy distribution. We also provide ‘field packs’ which are smaller 100 or 50 tablet packs used by NGO’s as first response in emergencies. As per World Health Organisation guidelines, a recommended dosage of 5ppm is achieved with Oasis Water Purification Tablets. Our standard Oasis Water Purification Tablets provide the WHO recommended 5ppm for emergency water purification. For household situations where a clean source is used we can provide Oasis Home Water Purification Tablets which provide the recommended 2ppm.
