The Browne STF Load Check Indicator & Holder is intended for use inside each basket or tray to verify the cleaning efficacy of a surgical instrument washer disinfector machine. It is a chemical Indicator manufactured from a plastic substrate that is printed on both sides, with a pattern of dried test soil formula. It is manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel and is corrosion and abrasion resistant. It will withstand the chemical, mechanical and thermal strains encountered during the normal washer disinfector process. Complete removal of the dried test soil pattern from the plastic substrate provides a qualitative assessment of the washer disinfector cleaning performance. The indicator contains no blood products. The performance is equivalent to cleaning efficacy soil tests for surgical instruments described in BS2745 and ISO/TS15883-5:2005 and HTM 2030.
